All current-issue $50 bills are Federal Reserve Notes. As of December 2013, the average life of a $50 bill in circulation is 8.5 years, or approximately 102 months, before it is replaced due to wear. Approximately 3.5% of all notes printed in 2019 were $50 bills.
After all, are old 50 bills worth anything? Many of them also aren't tremendously valuable. We also don't feature any $50 bills printed after 1930. They traditionally don't have any collector value.

It is against the law to deposit counterfeit money, whether it is via the teller, or via an ATM. They will discover it, and be able to trace it back to you (that's easily than you think). You will be charged with passing counterfeit bills.
What does a fake 50 look like?
Hold the note to light to see an embedded thread running vertically to the right of the portrait. The thread is imprinted with the text USA 50 and a small flag in an alternating pattern and is visible from both sides of the note. The thread glows yellow when illuminated by ultraviolet light.
